Khaled Jaouni
Khaled Jaouni has 14 years of experience in venture capital and business transformation. Prior to joining Signal Lake, Khaled was a Partner at Ithmar Capital for four years, which managed US$500 million in private equity investments on behalf of Middle East sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors. Khaled was responsible for managing a multi-sector fund, which grew in excess of 250%. Khaled also led the build up and management of Ithmar’s healthcare investment platform.
Prior to his venture capital and private equity work, Khaled held numerous senior consulting positions with Ernst & Young in the United States and Middle East. Khaled holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University (USA) and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School (UK). Khaled was selected by the Harvard Business School to participate in its case study on private equity in the Gulf. He currently serves as President of the Boston University Alumni Association in the GCC and a board member of its global council.
